How about Gil Scott-Heron’s “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised”? Kinda appropriate since, as far as it appears, this mee maw travesty hasn’t been seen on the big three networks this week.
I really like “Shackled and Drawn” by Bruce Springsteen. The line “gambling man rolls the dice, working man pays the bill” gets me every time. I also like “Bolt Cutter” by Ike Reilly. And I do recognize the irony of recommending a song about economic inequality by a multimillionaire.
Gov. MeeMaw got nothing on our loser Gov, IL Duce DeSantis. There is no bottom for him, which is why it was wonderful to see him come in third in the Republican presidential primary in Florida, AFTER Nikki Haley.
Well, why not? Governor Lurleen II practically had a rocket lit under her butt to ban abortion in her state. The body of Roe v. Wade wasn't even cold yet.

THAT’S A CLASSIC!!! It never gets old!
Exactly! It’s as pertinent now as it was then.

I don’t know if I know that one. I’ll check it out. Thanks.

Maybe she thought she was hitting the gas in drive, not realizing it was in reverse?
Oh, I know. It's like reliving McCarthy and Scopes all at once. Another milestone for my theory that 'stupid' is infinite. *sigh
