I miss Richard Pryor and George Carlin something awful. The social media algorithm is messing with us big time. I liked Rogan on “NewsRadio” an “Fear Factor”, but that’s it. When he started his podcast conspiracy theory bs, I knew he was a dip shit. Maybe too much weed… The fact that he gets paid millions to spew nonsense is just wrong. Add in subscriptions and you can figure out why he sold his soul and dignity.

Great article. We live in a sound bite world where “informed” people only read the headline. Never mind reading a full article and finding multiple sources before committing opinion to fact. Everyone is so damn busy adulting that spoon-fed news is the only thing they make/have time for. Divide and conquer. Rinse and repeat. I also believe there is something to be said about dumbing down on repeat as an alternative to being bogged down by every last grueling detail. How about sticking to four points: 1. Price of eggs and milk; 2. Getting rid of our programs (social security that we have paid into all our lives, medicaid/medicare, research for diseases we have or will get, reproductive health care, etc); 3. Giving huge tax cuts for the billionaires shooting up the deficit while gutting our programs.. and all for what? 4. To keep America white again. Even for the most racist among us, is it really worth all this sacrifice? How about that or any other easily digestible message instead?
