I appreciate the nuance you include in this post. No candidate is perfect, but Harris/Walz is so much better than the narcissistic rapist wanna-be dictator, my choice is clear. thank you
I agree with everything you said. We used to say that while someones foot is on your neck, we can't move. And sometimes we need to choose between whose crushing your neck , and who will get that foot released so we can breathe. We can breathe with Kamala and have opportunity to push change, and we need that. Glad you talked about Jewish people who support ceasefire and stop the killing, as well as hostages. My synagogue Kehilla is a synagogue for ceasefire. Always love to read your thoughts
I married into a politically-active family almost 40 years ago, and was disheartened to learn that all voting needs to be strategic. No candidate is perfect, but Project 2025 is 100% terrifying. I'm voting for forward progress, with a side of joy.
Thank you for thinking it all through and writing this. Thank you for laying out the issues on your mind and mine and that of so many. My first vote was for Gene McCarthy (yes, I'm an old Boomer) and my parents were beside themselves telling me I'd wasted my vote. It was the primary so I felt ok. And yes, I voted for HHH in the general even with some reservations. I understand the 'greater good.' I think Kamala and Tim WILL work hard to create a better US and world. My fear about the House and Senate and the many MAGA candidates at local levels is as great as they are about the Presidential election. Just as JD and Orange Putz (my name for the MAGA idol) keep asking why Kamala, as Veep, didn't "do more", I know how govt works. I'll watch the other outcomes as closely as I do this. But first I'll watch Milton and how FL and the Carolinas and parts of TN and elsewhere ensure people can vote. THAT may turn things upside down.
It's GO TIME for Kamala - I'm proud to be part of Founders for Kamala, White Dudes for Kamala, Dads for Kamala, Vote Save America, Equal Means Equal, and so on and so forth!
I am scared. I feel the momentum wane for the election in general and my fear is that apathy will elect Donald Trump. Can’t you do some big online blowout and get things warmed up again?

Thank you for such a thoughtful explanation of your thinking about this election. Loved the video! We need lots more dads like you.
Thank you for this. I think of this time as a challenge to bring us to deeper belonging.
